A Shopaholic Blogger?

Catch this rising kitty :) before its too late

I started blogging in the middle of 2008 after quitting an addictive online game called World of Warcraft. Before I was hooked on Ragnarok Online. I guess I have always been a more interactive person online. I had my first taste socializing online via MIRC, IRC, ICQ during the hey days of my secondary school life. It was all way cool. Meeting new people, making new friends, organizing events, road trips, outings was something I enjoyed. Then when I started working, I found magic in credit card. Shopping became a hobby, I love to shop whether it be for gifts, for myself or to make someone happy. I hunted down bargains, stalk warehouse sales, read magazines & the likes while dreaming of what to buy next. Called it retail therapy or send me to shopaholic anonymous counseling group, I enjoy what I do and sometimes I make money too. Of course, over-doing your credit card is a big NO-NO. I learned that the hard way.

Being such a sales stalker, I was soon recognized at sales spots and online forums - a community of shopaholics sharing and coming together as one. Due to the limitations of expressing my hobby via forums, I started blogging. I had no idea blogging was so much fun! it opened up new horizons for me and I made even more friends. Now with over 30k unique readers a month [nuffnang statistics], mostly from Malaysia (mostly woman age 20-30) and still growing. I hope that my blog would improve further and reach out to woman everywhere, sharing about the same passion in life or the one thing that makes us go ga ga - shopping.

XOXO,
Miu the shopaholic kitty
