  • Lerbolario Almond Massage Oil & Loccitane Supple Skin Oil

    12.12.2010

    bird's eye view for a shopper

    Just a review on shopping for massage oils, particularly ones made with almond on a bird's eye viewpoint and not a after use how many months view. The new beauty care brand Lerbolario (Italy) is now in Bangsar Shopping Centre. Should be a hit soon with those who loves Loccitane & Crabtree & Evelyn. I was over the other day at their opening and bought this Almond Massage Oil 100ml RM79. This is a small comparison between the two brands I now love:

    Lerbolario Almond Massage Oil
    Size = 125ml
    Price = rm79
    Packaging = glass bottle with plastic cap
    Scent: not strong
    Color: yellow oil
    Ingredients:
    Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (Sweet Almond), Tocopherol, Lecithin, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Parfum - Citric Acid.

    Loccitane Supple Skin Oil
    Size = 100ml
    Price = rm173/rm189 (bought mine from singapore coz msia sold out)
    Packaging: glass bottle with metal pump head
    Scent: strong and sweet
    Color: light faint yellow oil
    Ingredients:
    Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (Sweet Almond), Capric/Caprylic Triglycerides, Squalene, Perfume (Fragrance), Oenothera Biennis Oil (Evening Primrose), Borago Officinalis Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Limonene, Cymbopogon Martini Oil, Helichrysum Italicum Extract, Geraniol, Mentha Piperita Oil (Peppermint), Coumarin, Linalool, Citral, Citronellol

    Both can be used for massage or to improve skin (stretch marks, soften skin, firming, soothing, moisturize, etc). The scent is also therapeutic and when use in massage leaves your skin soft, supple and glowy. Though there's no samples for this almond massage oil, do try it at Lerbolario boutique at BSC and request for other samples of your choice. Unlike Loccitane, Lerbolario is more generous in that sense.
