helpful tools to make cleansing foam

Remember my review about the much loved Senka Perfect Whip? If you haven't tried it, you should! It's a gentle moisturising cleansing foam that has dense fluffy foams, feels good when you cleanse your face with it! It dissolves make up but it's not a make up remover, so I strongly advised you remove your make up before double cleansing with this. Anyway I have been practising trying to make the foams thicker and bubbly like the one in the Senka Perfect Whip TVC below but failed! :( I still won't give up.

how to use the Perfect Whip?

    not dense or foamy enough

See my palm-istry (haha) fails so I have been trying to make big dense foams using other tools I have at home say the Clarisonic Mia 2, Daiso's foaming sponge, Too Cool For School's Mini Face Pack and Caudalie's cleansing foam empty bottle. You will be surprise which one actually made it to the fast and furious level in making big foams!

    Clarisonic Mia 2 fail

    takes too long

    takes too long

    BINGO! this is perfect

dispenses fluffy foams on my palm

Among all the tools I used, the Caudalie's dispenser bottle was the perfect tool for creating fast and easy foams. All I did was squeeze Perfect Whip into the empty bottle, fill it with  water and shake to mix it up. Then I just squirt foams out onto my palm and walah!!! big fluffy foams. Readers if you have a awesome way of creating foams please share it with me! especially in the art of palm-istry.

P.S: so don't throw away any foam dispensing bottles you finished because they might come in handy!

    1. I have used both foams and I love them! What a great idea to use the Caudalie dispenser for the Perfect Whip! I'm going to copy that! :)

      1. I have this pain whenever I throw my empty skincare/makeup bottles away. Thankfully the Caudalie dispenser was unique so I kept it (like a year) ahahhaa....

    2. Awesome review Tammy! But I don't have a foam dispenser lying around. :(
Have you tried the cleansing net though? I got mine from Daiso and they make fluffiest foams! It's the same net that you use for your shower scrunchie. Here, I'll attache an image of it for you:

      1. ah!!! i seen that cleansing net in Daiso!!! while thinking between buying the foaming sponge or the net I chose the sponge instead. After reading your comment, I went to buy a foaming net from Too Cool For School yesterday during their grand opening, it costs more than RM5.00 sob sob.. but what the heck.... :D too cute to resist.

Thx for the tip!!! btw did u see the foaming hippo thing in Daiso too? there was only 1 unit left but the hippo look like... too..unbelievable to use. It's really the shape of a hippo face and the body is where you pour your foaming liquid in. Then squeeze somewhere and out comes foam in the mouth.

Was it squeeze or blow I can't remember, but so cute!

      2. Oooooh! Would love to see how the foaming hippo looks like!!! Sounds like a fun thing to hang in the bathroom! Haha! Must drop by Daiso the next time I fly to KL! (I'm from Kuching, BTW! :p)

I just bought my perfect whip yesterday and tried it out with the net and got the most amazing amount of foams! Super dense too! And I only used a tiny pea size amount of it! I spend an extra 5-10 minutes in the shower now due to this cleansing ritual, LOL!

    6. Tammy, do you use up all the foam at one go or keep them in the Caudalie bottle for next use?

      1. Hi Bugs, I keep the Caudalie bottle for a few days usage and only pump a handful to wash my face each time. Since the Caudalie bottle is travel size, I can only use it 3 times until I have to fill it up again.
