  • What's New? KBeauty SEP Jeju Mask

    7.12.2017

SEP sounds familiar, right? I just can't knock it off my head where I heard about it when they e-mail me to see if I would do a collaboration with their brand for Butterfly Project to review their masks. I did some digging online and saw that they had an official launch with Watsons Malaysia last December at the fancy expensive event place @ Glasshouse Seputeh. How I wish I could do an event at this place *drolls* but it's freaking expensive (I almost fainted looking at their rates). The event space is catered more for weddings hence the price but has become popular for brands to hold events there.

Anyway so as usual before accepting any collaboration, I'll do some research into what the brand or products are before agreeing to hold a review activity. They passed my inspection and I thought it'll be good to also blog about them here on my blog. Since I'm heavily into KBeauty these days, I guess it makes more sense that I built more content around this on my blog. I have access and information to a wide range of KBeauty products, even new ones incoming. Call it my lucky star that this dawn on me after 2 years into KBeauty industry.

But don't worry, I am a born consumer, spending money is my hobby. I'm not going to be siding anyone but I hope these are a great start to introducing new KBeauty brands to KBeauty lovers.

So I was reading SEP's fact file and it says they're one of South Korea's leading beauty brand (really?) and now they're in Malaysia. Their products are formulated with clean and natural key ingredients from Jeju Island, South Korea. Obsessed over the mystical island with clean water and refreshing air all year round (something I hope to see myself) and the fertile soil thanks to the volcanic eruption 2 million years ago, Jeju Island has become popular to brands for its rich ecological growth of flora and fauna. Many brands, including Innisfree has taken advantage of this island and marketing Jeju to the entire world. Which is why Jeju is on my to see bucket list next time I get a vacation.

So the line has 4 variants of facial masks to address different skin types and concerns (but in retrospect, they're suitable for all skin types) They are the SEP Canola Honey Nourishing Mask, SEP Cactus Fruit Moisturizing Mask, SEP Tangerine Brightening Mask, and SEP Green Tea Soothing Mask.

And to distinguish themselves apart from their competitors, SEP Jeju Mask Pack uses an innovative formula known as air pocket sheet which contains small airy space on the material that adheres to the skin to trap air and lock in all the rich goodness of the essence. This increased enables max. absorption of product into your skin. The masks are made to fit any face shape! (they claim).

Sounds good, I've asked for them to send me samples so I could include in my review here if they're any good. I'll be also hosting this review activity on Butterfly Project for 20 butterflies to review all 4 types of the masks (awesome right?). To be accurate, 4 boxes @ 20pcs of mask! It's raining mask heaven yay.
