Let’s toast! "May our children have rich fathers and beautiful mothers." 🥂 is the tagline of the newly unveiled hidden speakeasy bar above the fun-casuall Lou Lou James The Kitchen at Plaza Arkadia, Desa Parkcity. I had the pleasure of dining here today with a cheese pizza and sparkling lemon water. It was just way too early for happy hours.
The bar had a "Je ne sais quoi" feeling to it that evokes the timeless and elegant all in one. I jokingly told the owner, was it to drop the wife and children below while the dads went up for a drink? Lou Lou James if you haven't heard, is the children's furniture brand created by Esther Ng. Inspired by her sons, she designed the first learning tower in Malaysia called "Alta" that is now a must-have item for every stylish home.
