  • How To Clean Your Crochet Items?

Most crochet items can be spot clean with water and a washcloth. You may use anti-bacterial wipes to spot clean as well. But if your crochet item needs a good cleaning, we advise you to proceed with caution as different handmade items use different yarn materials and some may be made with delicate parts that could be damaged or fall off during washing.

If your crocheted item does not have delicate parts or delicate shapes, you can hand wash in cold/room temperature water with normal mild soap then air dry it well in a fully ventilated area so it dries completely quickly. Some can be put into a pillow case or protective case, then into the dryer at the lowest setting.

❌ Do not use hot water, bleach, fabric softener or harsh chemicals
❌ Do use bio-degradable, non-toxic, mild cleaning soaps or detergents so your plushies remain safe for children or pets.

To maintain the shape or condition of your handmade crochet items, treat them as delicately as possible, like your delicates (bra). You should google for more information as there are many crafters online who would advise how-to.

P.S: If your handmade items are delicate, we advise you to hand wash so you have better control over the delicate parts such as the accessories on a Llama, tiny flowers and beanie hats.
