  • Old Master Q Comics Needs A Home

    7.19.2012

    Old Master Q anyone remembers?
lol I was a big fan of this comic

Remember the times when our moms went to the hair salon and the only thing worth reading for us kids is good old Old Master Q comic books? (okie maybe my mom and the hair salons I go to). I was a huge fan of this 60s comic! even if there's no words, it was pretty funny for a kid like me. Well okay story short, I found a box of Old Master Q comics while moving house. Okay they belong to my bf, gee... didn't know he is a big fan too! he has a big box of it, practically not damaged. It was kept aside up in his wardrobe (of all places). I thought these comics would make great 60's or 80's deco piece for a party or event, but who am I kidding? =_= when will I organize such a party n how long more do we intend to keep the comics. My bf wants to throw them away but I'm cringing in my heart saying NOOOO!!! so I'm asking anyone who wants a box of Old Master Q comics come get them in TTDI? You can decorate your 60's or kopitam theme shop with it or if you're old school die hard.. can keep them too for reading.

Old Master Q (老夫子 or Lǎo Fū Zi in Chinese) is a long-running comic (manhua) from Hong Kong detailing the misadventures of Old Master Q and his friends Big Potato and Mr Chin. They’ve been described as the most popular comic book characters in Hong Kong and I think they’re real icons for the Chinese diaspora too.
