Malaysia International Gifts & Premium Expo 2013 (MIGP)

5.11.2013

Malaysia International Gifts & Premium Expo 2013
13th - 15th May, 2013 @ KLCC

There is PC Fair, Beauty Expo, Wedding Fair, HomeDec and even Education Fair but have you heard of the gifts and premium expo before? I must be living in the dark all this while because I didn't know such expo existed until lately when my friend told me about it. Being quite curios about what the fair has to offer and the prices from wholesaler and retailers, I am going to check this out next week for my company and for myself too. Who knows I could find a really good price to start my own beauty box company? (like there's not enough out there haha) or my own zakka shop. I also think this is a good place for party planners out there in Malaysia. The usual crowd would be coming from corporate to loyalty programme sectors as well as retailers and government agencies. I bet this year since the indie market is trending, they'll be expecting some quite hippie, artsy crowds coming.

The Expo: Malaysia's International Gifts & Premiums Expo (MIGP Expo)
Date: 13 – 15 May 2013 (Monday – Wednesday)
Visiting Hours: 10.00am – 6.00pm
Venue: Hall 4, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre

looks pretty interesting to check out

I am going to check out the market rates at this expo because when I get married, I would like to make my own wedding favors (that's if I don't turn into a Bridezilla). Also it would be a good place to get inspired with ideas. Example - when I see cute tiny Cinderella carriage boxes I immediately think about having a Cinderella birthday party and inviting all my friends to a magical dinner. When midnight strikes, everyone should tear off their clothes and start disco dancing. Well that's just me and my crazy ideas.

so what's MIGP about?

This saying is a driving force in the gift and premium industry. The art of gifting has been practiced on a personal and corporate level. Companies present gifts and premiums to show their appreciation to their customers and partners as well as for branding and incentive programs. MIGP Expo 2013 is making its comeback as the 3-day intensive business gathering for gift & premium suppliers to showcase their latest range of products to potential customers from the corporate and public sector. It is the event where potential buyers visit to source for new gift ideas and meet the industry suppliers face-to-face.

I think this is great to customize your own tote bags

party/wedding ideas & craft supplies

spotted wedding favor boxes!

if you're looking for more elegant & luxurious gifts

this is interesting acrylic display stands, holders!

this is one of the booths I want to check out!

The MIGP website showcases a list of participating exhibitors for this expo which I find quite useful to do research before going because there is a total of 60 booths at this expo! The website also shows samples of the products by exhibitors and a brief introduction on what they do. Here is a list of items that will be showcased at the expo. I hope to find some good deals on clearance favor boxes and organza bags! Tell your friends about this expo because it might help them to save or give them an idea on what to do for their upcoming event or business.
