I never thought I would be hooked on watching those mini ads made into short stories. Usually released in a spam of days or weeks, these mini ads stories are brand driven and has drama in it to hook people, particularly the young, the online social savvy groups, the K-drama holics as well.

Yeah I am talking about The Wind Chimes in a Bakery. I am not particularly a Samsung android supporter because I use Apple but after watching the mini series, I must say I am tempted to buy myself a Samsung S4! Why? because this show has managed to touch my heart and fire up the romantic in me.

Now the special thing about this movie is when you watch it, it feels totally like a Korean love drama series but the settings and characters are made in Malaysia. All this made come true by Korean director, Jang Jae Hyeok (think Girls Generation music videos).

The love story revolves around two different beings in the Klang Valley, a guy name Adam (Ahmad Nabil) from a poor background but has a big dream. Then comes along Sue (Koe Yeet) a rich girl with everything but love (she has a lot of love from parents imho) a timebomb brain tumor. I had an agonizing time waiting for the mini episodes to be on youtube, watched for a few minutes and then had to wait again AGONIZING! but readers you're lucky now coz you can wait it all on youtube.

I got to attend the baking workshop too with Adam and Sue, baking the infamous and incredible red bean buns. This will have to be another story because I am not ready to blog about it (the amount of awesome photographs I have hard to choose!). It was a pleasure meeting them both, I love Sue a.k.a Koe Yeet so much, she's so bubbly and cute! I'm so proud to know we have such a talented young actor and actress with that big perfect smile. All thanks to Samsung Malaysia and Edelman (the pr firm) for making my wish come true to meet the young star crossed lovers on screen and baking red bean buns with them.

AND YOU BET for the finale, I didn't missed the chance to watch it live at GSC Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur organized by Samsung Malaysia again. They screen the entire episode again and the media, bloggers and friends watched it together with Adam and Sue! We had more incredible buns for breakfast and lunch. I went to Kenko Fish Spa after the screening to enjoy 30mins of fish nibbling session just to basked in the moment that I have finally catch the finale in the best way possible. You can catch the finale and the rest of the which was released yesterday on Samsung Malaysia Channel on youtube. The rest of the episodes are there too.

I think being romantic is being able to express ourself comfortably around each other. Sometimes we may sneak in some PDA (Public Display of Affection) like feeding each other with french fries in front of our friends and they go.. "eeewww what are they two doing" or "omg... so sweet" because we hardly show PDA in front of them. Most of them time it's like Enemy of the State haha! spies on a job.

Over the next five (5) months, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur will be running a series of challenges which would require you to submit your engagement story, photos and videos. This campaign will be divided into four (4) stages which are:

1) The Introduction (17 July to 31 August 2013)

Introduce yourself and your partner to us. We would love to hear your story and get to know you better. Submit your love story alongside with a photograph of you and your fiancé. Tell us how you met your partner and why is he/she is THE ONE. Each submission would need to be accompanied by your full name, identification number and email address. Then, be sure to encourage friends and family to vote for your story in the dedicated website.
Lastly, sit back, relax and wait for the results.
The Top 50 submissions with the most votes from the public will be notified by us and will advance to the next series of challenges.

* All voting will officially be closed on 31 August 2013, 11:59pm

2) The Collage (5 September to 14 September 2013)

They say, “a picture paints a thousand words”. That’s right! The Top 50 finalists would have to:

1. Submit a photo collage clip no longer than 1 minute of you and your partner with a song which best represents your relationship.

The Top 10 finalists will be selected by the panel of judges and sponsors. Finalists will be notified and will advance to the next series of challenges.

3) The Engagement (20 September to 26 September 2013)

They say that “a picture paints a thousand words” while video is… simply engaging and a methodology to express yourself! The Top 10 finalists would have to:
Submit a clip no longer than 3 minutes and tell us how you proposed to your partner or re-enact the actual proposal in a location identified by the panel of judges and sponsors.
The Top 3 finalists will be selected by the panel of judges and sponsors. Finalists will be notified and will advance to the final challenge.

4) The Real Deal (2 October to 6 October 2013)

This is it! Share with us why you deserve to be the winner of “The Engagement” campaign in the most creative, fun and quirky way. Submit a clip no longer than 3 minutes. The winning couple will be selected by the panel of judges and sponsors, with the results being announced on 11 October 2013.

Genting Bus DROPS Down Cliff

happened today at around 2.45pm

This is just in, my fiance told me Genting Bus got into an accident (I was like mehh?) but when he added "DOWN THE HILL CRASH" (I went woah?!!) I went to google and Lowyat forum there's people sharing pictures and comments on this! Some commented live at the accident area as well. Quite scary, especially when me and the SWATs are going to Genting this weekend for our SWAT Getaway.

According to passerby, the bus lost control and crash into the rocky border down the cliff. Those who witness the accident is sharing the scene on facebook. The fire and bomba department is at the scene trying to rescue the passengers. We don't know who is alive now and I hope they all survive this! do I look more relax after 10mins?

When I used the Alpha-H Liquid Gold Smoothing & Perfecting Mask 100ml RM198.50, I was disappointed it wasn't in liquid gold (haha who am I kidding right, gold cream Liquid Gold actually means the anti-aging range for Alpha-H) but surprised that as powerful as it claims to be, the product gave me an instant lustrous silky soft after wash! The all too familiar scent of Kaolin, a clay used in deep cleansing masks was a tad dry for my dry face after the silkiness passed. It's awesome for those with oily skin. Since the product warns that it uses Alpha-Hydroxy Acid, a mild tingling sensation may be experience (I did experience this on my cheeks! but the tingling sensation went away after a few mins). I don't recommend sensitive skin users to put this cream mask on for too long. Overall, this is a deep cleansing mask to be used after cleansing your face to remove dead skin cells, sebum, dirt that would leave your face feeling clean and brighter. The dryness was played down thanks to the moisturizing ingredients - Manuka Honey, Lavender and Vitamin E which helps to plumped up and hydrate the new skin cells.

My Tesco Online Shopping Experience

open house the next day but no drinks?!

Since moving into my new home and furnishing it slowly, it was now time to have open house to invite friends to have a sneak peek at our home. We had catering done so what we needed was beverages to fill up 20 thirsty hippos on Friday night. I was in a "lazy mode" so I google Tesco Online to check out their latest "home delivery" service. I surf around Tesco's E-Shop and my curiosity to test this new service out made me order 40 bottles of carbonated drinks for only RM100++! I was also laughing evilly away while I select my drinks while imagining other people slaving the grocery shopping for me, carrying the heavy soft drinks from Tesco to the car and right to my doorsteps. Yes we're talking about 40 big bottles of soft drinks! Thinking about carrying it in the shopping trolley to the cashier then loading it into my car and bring it back home makes me sweat.
