For RM22.80 per set, the Feast of Togetherness offers a solid local meal with your movie experience. You get a choice of Ayam Kalio or Siakap Asam Pedas, served with white rice, vegetables, keropok ikan, and a tall glass of Sirap Banding.

It’s not fancy, but for the price—and the fact that you’re dining inside a cinema—it’s honestly a pretty good deal. Especially with the promo running until 30th April.

Sirap Banding – Frothy & Refreshing

Now the drink was an unexpected delight. The Sirap Banding is a twist on the classic sirap bandung—frothy, creamy, and not too sweet. It balanced out the meal nicely, especially if the spice starts creeping up. Light and refreshing, it felt like the sweet end to a proper Malaysian meal.

🍗 Ayam Kalio – Thick & Creamy

My partner chose the Ayam Kalio, a rich coconut curry chicken dish. The gravy was thick and creamy, leaning towards lemak-style rather than rendang. It was hearty, satisfying, and a nice pick if you're a fan of mellow, coconut-based sauces. Personally, I prefer the drier, more intense rendang—but this still held its own.

Siakap Asam Pedas – Tangy & Reliable

I went with the Siakap Asam Pedas, and you really can’t go wrong with this one. The gravy had that tangy, spicy kick you'd expect, and the siakap (barramundi) soaked it up well. It paired beautifully with the rice—comforting, familiar, and flavourful. Not over-the-top spicy, but enough to hit the right notes.

We caught the latest Rami Malek movie after dinner, and honestly, the entire experience felt cozy and effortless. The cinema wasn’t crowded, the ambience was relaxed, and there was this unspoken sense of nostalgia—like a flashback to weekend dates from years ago. No frills, just soft lighting, vintage aesthetics, and the simple joy of being together.
