yes folks I'm going to Bali next month!

Yeah I am going insane asking hundred and one times in my facebook to where should I stay, what should I do, yakkity yak yak... my friends are probably getting irritated by now. It won't be a tour around Bali trip because due to Air Asia Sales, I'm getting horrible departure and arrival time at Bali. My trip is 4D3D but my first night I will be arriving at night and on my last day I will be departing in the late evening. To make things worst, I didn't know November in Bali means = wet season (rain, thunder etc). That's why I have decided to stay in Ubud (the heart of culture in Bali) to make life easier for first time travelers with bad choice of flight time and travel month. I figure with the rain n thunder, having to stay in a place where there's a lot of markets, restaurants and spas would be a good place to stay dry.
The vivacious center of Bali’s arts scene, Ubud is home to a small treasure trove of museums and galleries. Situated 20 miles northeast of Bali’s airport, the relatively off-the-beaten-path town is surrounded by rice fields and small villages. A gentle destination, far from the mayhem of the coast, Ubud is actually a cluster of separate villages. Nearby nature reserve Monkey Forest Park is home to hundreds of long-tailed macaques. Don’t miss the valley of tomb cloisters at Gunung Kawi. - tripadvisor

Did I mention that Julia Roberts shot the Bali scene in Eat Pray Love in Ubud? Yeah! I'm so happy that I made Ubud my first Bali experience. Maybe I can relive the wonderful love story she has in Bali with my boyfriend? But seriously I don't know where to start or go in Ubud so if anyone has any idea please let me know? I'm reading blogs and traveller's tips atm and seems Monkey Forest is one of the top places to visit.  Which is great because I'm staying nearby at this nice romantic place called Royal Kamuela Ubud Villas. Conveniently located next to monkey forest and 5 minutes from Ubud central market; walking distance to all restaurants, shops and bars! Take a look at the gorgeous photos of the place below:

I actually planned this trip because it's my boyfriend's birthday on 8th Nov ^_^ and hope this will be a romantic getaway from our hectic lives. This year mark's our 10th Anniversary together as well. Maybe I can propose to him? (since modern day already). My Royal Kamuela Ubud Villa comes with the following goodies:

    1. Hi Miu, for me the most unforgettable memories in Bali is baving grilled seafood dinner at Jimbaran beach with the never-ending rolling waves, watching the fabulous sunset with stars twinkling brightly in the sky. Should have a romantic dinner there if it's not raining. Have a fab time there.

      Rgds,
      Gloria

    3. Was recently in Bali 6 days 5 nights, my last day being the day the Bali earthquake happened. Lol. My guide told me to stay in Ubud next time cos it's in the middle of everything (I was staying in Kuta then), so your stay location is great since there is no where too far away or too close by. :P

Be ready for a sensory awakening as you experience a melting pot of sights, sounds, and the richness of nature and culture combined.

      I ♥ Bali!
