  • Linden Leaves Body Oils from Heaven

    12.28.2012

luscious body oil that's amazingly beautiful

I have to gush about this new body oil I found at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur! It's so beautiful... so mesmerizing. A sight to behold, even you would hold your breath for a moment gazing at the floating fruits or roses in a pool of aromatherapy essential oils from New Zealand. Let me introduce you to...

    theSkintopic (New Zealand), Pavilion

Nestled in the middle of the top floor of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, there's bodycare shop from New Zealand called theSkintopic. Here lies the beautiful body oils from Linden Leaves. Using pure ingredient and attention to detail, Linden Leaves combines nature and science to create balanced bodycare, designed to nourish the skin and nurture the soul. Rich in natural botanical goodness, no chemical nasties, Linden Leaves draws on the benefits of essential oils, plants derived exfoliants, natural moisturizers and a unique New Zealand heritage to bring to you the aromatherapy synergy range of natural bodycare products with unisex fruit and plant derived fragrances for a spirited well-being.

a variety of body & face care products can be found here

However the star of the show was the body oils, you will not regret stealing a glimpse of this seductive maiden from New Zealand. Flowers and fruit is freeze dry before essential oils (mainly almond oil & vitamin E) are pour into the bottles. One can't help but admire the beauties. Are there different types/scents available? yes! under the aromatherapy synergy, there's 4 types of body oils available in 250ml and 60ml plastic bottles:

    • absolute dreams
    • in love again
    • memories
    • pick me up

What are the uses of body oil? Well there's a long list of why oils are good and bad for your skin but used wisely and in moderation, one can gain the benefits of essential oils to uplift your mood (aromatherapy) and to moisturized your skin. You can use body oils in place of a lotion after your shower just by massaging it on your warm skin for a deep and longer lasting hydration. Also since it's pure essential oil, you can use for massage or draw a bath and drizzle it lightly as bath oil.

    which one is your favorite?

    body lotion & shower creme 200ml rm88
    diffusers in 5 variants rm200

Organic rosehip and avocado oils blended with pure sweet almond and apricot kernel oils, enriched with vitamin E and infused with a rejuvenating blend of mandarin, petitgrain, rosemary and lavender, to keep skin soft and nourished. This beautiful natural oil contains citrus and fruit.

My review? I was given the In Love Again Body Oil 60ml to try and I was really hoping that I could try Absolute Dreams (Lavender) instead. While the body oil works wonderfully on my skin as a super moisturizer, I'm not a fan of the In Love Again scent. Smells a bit tomato-ish from the bottle but you can't smell it anymore once applied. Personally I think body care products are really personal and should suit one's taste of smell. If you're looking to buy this as a gift, do research first on which aromatherapy synergy type is suitable. I think classic would be Lavender, while rose is a favorite among the feminine. Not overly greasy or oily, it adds a healthy glow on your skin when applied, great for your scaly dry legs and sun dried tomato hands imho!

    body oil 250ml costs RM196

while the travel size 60ml costs RM98

    watch the Linden Leaves interview

The Linden Leaves story began in 1995  with the founding of the company in the South Island of New Zealand by Brigit Blair. A well-travelled mother of three, Brigit established the Linden Leaves brand and launched immediately into export. Brigit was soon joined by her daughter Juliet, and the pair have been sharing their passion for quality ingredients, inspirational aromatic combinations and the vast array of natural botanical bounty that New Zealand offers, with the rest of the world for fifteen years.

    Discounts up to 20% from 1st November 2012 - 31st January, 2013

Take the chance to purchase their heavenly body oils at a discount. In my opinion it's quite expensive to purchase body oil 250ml for RM196 when there's plenty of body oils in the market. However where can you find body oil with real fruits and flowers inside? They make such divine one of a kind gifts that'll jaw drop anyone who receives it though.

More about Linden Leaves visit www.theskintopic.com.my and their facebook fanpage. You can visit theSkintopic at Lot LGC01, Lower Ground Floor, Subang Parade Mall or a their new kiosk located at Lot No. P5.12.00, Level 5, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Mall.
