L'Oréal Professionnel INOA 2 Hair Coloring Review

Anyone notice my new hair color for Christmas?! maybe you didn't see me much because December isn't so good for me. I gotten sick since the 2nd week until now! it's like from sore throat to coughing and now I'm having flu! gosh. BUT the best part is I finally got to try the hair coloring technology from L'oreal Professionnel called INOA "Innovative No Ammonia".  You can say this is like a birthday present come true too!

Thanks to L'Oreal who made an appointment for me at Albert Nico Boutique Salon, Fahrenheit 88. The salon is actually situated outside the shopping mall (I made a mistake of going in). To be more accurate, it's opposite Sephora, down a few shops.

I met the most down to earth celebrity hair stylist too! Albert Nico, founder of Albert Nico Boutique Salon. He has celebrities, royalty, socialites coming to him and he does charity too. Such a humble person who cherish friendship as he talks to me about his friends. In his biography book "When Dreams Come True" he tells the tale of a humble beginning with his beloved grandmother who inspired and loved him. He gave me an autographed copy *touched* to bring back home.

A full head coloring starts from RM180, while hair cuts starts from RM50. I have paid more than that in my hair salon life. For the INOA hair coloring, the price is based on how many tubes of hair color you use, a tube + service cost RM250. Albert Nico says it actually depends on your hair texture and length to determine how many tube. why I wanted to try INOA? well mainly because of their selling tag line no ammonia and no odor. Curiosity got to me on this new innovative hair coloring technology, which might not be that new anymore since there's also organic hair coloring. Anyway, I got to know INOA's formula has changed, improving hydration for up to 6 months. Now this I have got to try!

amazing, I don't feel or smell a thing!

My review on the INOA hair coloring technology compared to all the hair coloring services & DIYS I have used is the OMG, there's really no ammonia smell! unlike your conventional dyes, you'll notice the ammonia odor right away. It's especially strong in some DIY hair coloring products which tears me up. Second, I always feel a stinging or tingling sensation when I color my hair, my scalp is sensitive so I was super amazed that I didn't feel anything from this experience. It was like having hair treatment and you're there waiting 30mins. Having said that, this is what I felt and it might be different to another person.

I do hope this is the real stuff! After INOA, I might not go for the conventional dyes anymore. Sticking to what my scalp is telling me - comfort! My hair which was already damage & dry from chemical services I have done early few months ago, was not dry or damaged after INOA. It didn't make it worst and yes you can say I felt softness and shine after rinsing and blow drying. However during my home care, after shampoo it was dry (my hair is already damage to begin with) but after conditioning it returned to it's lustre. Especially even better when I use Mythic Oil (hair oil) to treat my hair. I really do recommend Mythic Oils! it's only RM75 and does wonders to your hair.

You know, my mom saw my hair 2 days after and she complimented that I look so much better with my new hair color, even slimmer. I didn't really believe hair colors would change a person's outlook that way until today. I'm so proud that I looked slimmer HAHAHA!!! and loving the new hair color which didn't damage my hair further but actually became better (shinier & softer than before). There's no such thing as coloring hair not damaging your hair, but choosing the right coloring technology might saved your hair from harm and further damage!

My session only took more than an hour. It was fast and effortless as I watched Tim my hair stylist color, rinse & blow dry my hair to a whole new look. I do recommend anyone who wants to color their hair and don't mind paying a bit more to get INOA and have your hair stylist choose the right shades to enhance or compliment your skin tone. Mine was cooper brown, it was a warm rich hue that made my previous color a dull shame.
