Mon Shu’s day out with Tammy in Bangkok

meet Mon Shu Girl, my travel buddy

This is "mon shu girl", inspired by shu uemura products, Japanese traditional culture and contemporary art, she is created by Karl Lagerfeld as the latest adorable icon for Shu Uemura's fall/winter collection with Karl Lagerfeld. She wears his symbolic white shirt and black tie. She followed me to Thailand, and I guess you'd be interested to know what we did in one day in Bangkok! btw mon shu means my darling. 9.30am Mon Shu & I went on a tour

on a river canal cruise to see temples, palaces & Thai culture

then we went to Siam Ocean World, Siam Paragon at 1pm

mon shu got scared of the giant crab

oh no we're at the shark zone now!

we had a late lunch after escaping from the jaws

watched 5D xtreme cinema that rock our chairs!

6pm we went to visit President Obama & his wife
(mon shu says they're such nice happy people)


mon shu was excited meeting celebrities, politicians & stars here

of course we hit the shopping malls before it closes!


stopped to watch a live band singing

and walked 40mins to Citin Spa from MBK

mon shu fell asleep while I was getting a foot massage

the next morning, we met Dada my Thai friend

(brought us to one of the best spas in Bangkok)

Readers I hope you like my pictures with mon shu girl! We had a blast together at Bangkok touring the river, shopping, sight-seeing at Ocean World and Madame Tussauds and having a pampering session at night! (and also the next day haha). Everyone asked me what doll I was holding and I was quick to introduce my lil mon shu girl to them. Even more excited when we passby Shu Uemura boutique at Siam Discovery World (where Madame Tussauds is at). Believe it or not, we only ate during the late lunch and was more excited about seeing JAWS swimming.
