It's true, Stila Malaysia has gone bonkers with their latest promotion, which is clearly a desperate attempt to earn whatever that can before Stila is permanently out of Malaysia. Their latest promotion buy any 5 for rm50 at Stila Pavillion or Gardens will run until counters closed. This does not apply to Talking Lip Palettes that's going for RM56. Yesterday I dropped by Stila Pavillion after my Bobbi Brown Make Up Workshop and was tempted to buy the foundation refill powder 40watts that my mother uses. Initially I bought it for way more than rm10! I also bought long wear lip color in rendevous (the only color left), lipglaze sticks in brown sugar and gingerbread (the last of it) a under eye brush no.2 and 3 Stila mugs for rm10 (previously sold for rm15, then rm12 and now rm10 under this promotion).

I interview several customers on Luxasia's latest Stila promotion and most were shock at how Stila has ridiculously taken its Malaysian customers on a circus ride with such promotions. Most asked, "Why not just have a warehouse clearance from the start instead of teasing us with such price reduction and circus promotions?".
While this promotion benefits us in more ways than one, many are comparing stila cosmetic prices with the recent Anna Sui Warehouse sales where cosmetics were cheap, affordable and majority of the cosmetics sold here are manufactured in 2008!!!
FYI the buy any 5 for rm50 promotion is very attractive to students and those who's under the budget. Bear in mind, products that's available are leftover cosmetics that's not been able to clear since April (Stila Fever Sale).

ReplyDeleteGirls, pls bear in mind that many of items left on both Stila counters are manufactured in 2005-2006.Some even 2004! So shop smartly. ;)
hi, were there pressed powder casings? I asked the SA and she said there weren't any left... I was there Saturday afternoon
