Transitions Optical Lenses Review Part 3

Transitions Lenses when indoors (no UV ray)

I'm back with my last post on showing off my new pair of Transitions lenses. This time I'm bringing my babies out for a ride in the sun to test them out. My fiance wants to go to the nurseries near the Sungai Buloh  Old Hospital area to buy a bamboo tree for our house. I though it was a good chance for me to tag along! the sun is hot and sunny today. I slapped on Hada Labo's UV sun protection lotion, which is oily but light on my face and arms. Having Transitions lenses to protect my eyes (plus eye area) is a bonus!

off to Sungai Buloh's nursery land

it was days before Chinese New Year

one of the popular Nursery that sells potted herbs

followed my fiance here to buy a tree

I wish I have hanging plants like these at home

colorful flowers everywhere

purple ones (no idea what are these)

 orchids plenty during this time

this is a furry tail one

daisies in warm colors

I bought potted herbs from here!

boy is it HOT...

good time to use your shades

You can see how sunny it is from my photographs taken by my Samsung Galaxy Camera. It's all unedited, except photoshoping texts into it. The sun is so hot during Chinese New Year, you can see my face is blushing and I am melting arghhh.

thankfully I have magic lens!
a.k.a Transitions Optical Lenses

changes from clear to

dark when its exposed to UV rays

I didn't even feel the change! muahahha

My Sungai Buloh nursery escapade turned out to be a really good experience for me to test my new frames and Transitions lenses from Optical 88 (KLCC). The place was so hot and sunny, I can feel my cheeks burning. My fiance went to look at the bamboo trees and we had to go out to the open sun areas to look at them. Its then that I took many photographs of myself using my Samsung Galaxy camera to see if my Transitions lenses work. When I saw my pictures I was amazed at how dark the lenses got compared to when I wore them at home! Also with sun glaring at us at the open air area, I was kinda happy and showing off to my fiance that I have shades protecting me from the glare. That's a good thing because I get headaches easily is it's too sunny and glaring. No popping panadols today yay!!!

I'm really happy with the test results, so I'm going to show a comparison of how the Transitions lenses change from clear to dark on me at different areas (with UV rays or not).

it changes in a matter of seconds without you knowing it!

Now when people ask me what's Transitions lenses, I'll know what to say and I can even show them! I use to think they will be super expensive but I found out you can get your regular Optical shop to give you a discount so the lenses will be from RM400++. It won't change your lifestyle , only enhances it. You won't look like a retro nerd too because it fits into any type of frame. I love branded frames (and well since you're investing good lenses, better get a good frame) so I got mine fitted into a Tiffany & Co frame! (my favourite).
