Twilight Moview Preview

It's been some time since I last review a movie BUT that doesn't mean I didn't watch movies for the past few months! Infact I have been watching a lot of movies but never got to blogging about them due to a few blogging setbacks and trying to settle my credit card debt. Twilight deserves a review from lazy me. I have seen it twice & I am even planning to buy the novel (but the original copy is sold out in major bookstores! darn it).

Last Thursday, I organized & sponsored a movie preview session with some of my friends, bloggers & even shopaholics girls who came to meet me to collect their goods. It was a really busy night for me, my blood pressure was riding so high I had migrane. However the movie was SO GOOD that I have completely lost my head and my heart to the handsome Edward Cullen a.k.a the vampire pretty boy in this film.

Yes the awfully handsome vampire guy in this film is named EDWARD CULLEN and sorry girls he's heads over heels for Bella Swan the heroin of this movie. Initially I didn't know what this movie is all about until I google it. Turns out, this is actually a long awaited movie based on the ever popular best selling novel by Stephenie Meyer. It's a love story so forbidden you'll fall madly in love with Bella & Edward. I can't express how cool it is to be a vampire at this point, you have got to see this movie for yourself and don't miss out the baseball session! it's the coolest scene ever! The characters in the movie is so intriguing and fascinating to the point that you'll want to get bitten by the love bug. HOWEVER, the vampires here are no ordinary vampires that turned into ashes when they hit sunlight, so that's something to think about.

Well maybe I am being too dramatic about this movie (it just shows how crazy I am about it). When this movie was relased in the U.S, it hit box office no.1 where the movie accumulated close to US $70 million in it's opening weekend and studio suits have already locked in a sequel with its two leads. YES this is not the end of Bella & Edward! there's actually 3 books (with a forth one coming) and we all want to know what Victoria will do! (u won't know who's victoria until u watch the movie).

I'm rating this movie a 4/5 stars (i can't rate 5/5 because the guys are complaining how soppy this movie is). Romance, Forbidden Love, Handsome Guys, Super Powers, and the thought of being bitten by this hunk is a sure A PLUS in my book. Go watch it girls, and guys if u want to score u should bring your date to see this movie.

Notice a lot of shoppers thought the Dior' flight set is manufactured in 2008. Actually the flight set (white) comes in 2 different manufacturing dates - 2008 and 2007. Don’t grab without looking at the manufactured dates. This time my heart pain to see that it’s at reduced price of rm100 each, 2 for rm180. When I first bought mine it was rm150 each! arghhh.. but it's fast selling as today the tenants of Menara Millenium must be 90% girls? morning reported the waiting Q up to lift. By lunch time it was worst. Well I was there after 3pm and the crowd must have subsided as there was only a handful of shoppers left. Of course the items are also a handful now? ok lah, I don't want to scare u bit from the looks of it, there won't be enough for the large public crowd coming tomorrow. Whatever you do, my advise is go in the morning if u still want Flight set.

Other than that, the pink, lip/gloss palletes are gone. CD brush set is GONE too and the price remains the same as the last warehouse sales.

Friday (public sale)

• I went there in the morning with my boss & she sapu the lipsticks. She loves lipsticks. Flight set has like table + 2 cartons of it left (each carton 24 pcs). I check the table and it's all manufactured in 2007, the lady was kind enough to open the new boxes for me to get 2008 manufactured dates. The 1st box was all 2007, but thank god the last box was all 2008 :D cool!!!

• I know it's just a month or so difference, but the newer the longer I could keep it.

• Sorry girls no brush set left today. I know alot of u want the brush set but it's all sold out yesterday. I left the place at 11am, and the shock the sales people there by turning up after lunch again. NO it's not that i am crazy, it's just that my colleague wanted to buy some lipsticks suddenly! so whole office went to CDSALES!!! hahahahahaha. When I reach there after 2pm, there's only 8 Dior Flight sets left. By the time I leave, 4 left on the table! amazing.
  
• My boss already spent rm1k-2k in this sales (including the last sale at Coronade Hotel, KL) mostly it's for christmas shopping. U know christmas is coming!!! 25 days more and the best gifts for the price you pay can get you something so GOOD here! hello.. what can u buy for rm50 nowadays at shopping centre? That's what I loved about warehouse sales, I get to give my friends fabulous gifts for less the price for the same items sold in shopping centre. Hello! what difference does it make? they're all from the same source/place/warehouse/etc! what's different is the price, the season and how long more u can keep it for :)

I only heard about this sales from a shopaholic babe a.k.a dee yesterday & was suprised that Benefit is having another warehouse sales at their office in Pusat Bandar Damansara (u know where help college, immigration is?). Dee went this morning to check for me & I was on my way there already when she said YEAP sales is on & told me some of the items and it's price.

HEY if u like the previous sale, u'll luv d'price slash in this one!

Depending on what products you're aiming for, I'll say the price slash would benefit u this time around. In my opinion, I think they're trying to clear what's left from that October sales hence the cut. HOWEVER, they have smarten up and increase the price for a particular must have in this sale. I will leave u guessing and if u haven't guess it at all, scroll to the end of this post & you'll find out what it is.

PLEASE make sure u check all your items before paying. I've learned never to trust warehouse sale items. Reason being, I bought a few products from this sale and they're mostly in a bad condition already. Some items are even defective in their packaging e.g playsticks unable to twist back to position. The BAD GAL Lash Mascara in Blue, it's dry. I have Bad Gal in black so I knew the texture isn't the same. Thank God the person-in-charge is so kind! he changed it for me when I brough my product back. Unfortunately I've tested 2 mascaras and still the same problem so the kind person say I could replace with something else. PLEASE NOTE! I don't think they'll do this again to every complaint. SO I DO HOPE U CHECK YOUR ITEMS before buying.

Polis Singapura ketika dihubungi Bernama berkata Nordin Montong, 30-an, dijumpai dalam keadaan cedera di leher dan badannya. Harimau putih yang dipercayai membaham mangsa. -foto AFP Polis menerima panggilan kecemasan pada pukul 12.30 tengah hari tadi mengenai kejadian itu dan terus berkejar ke zoo berkenaan. Paramedik yang turut dikejarkan ke sanamengesahkan Nordin meninggal dunia pada pukul 12.45 tengah hari.
