  • Stila PAV Extended!

    6.30.2009

Just as I thought, Luxasia has extended again the Stila Sales. We all know that Stila Pavillion is the last standing Stila counter in Malaysia and they should've closed by end of June. However things has change and they're closing down this Sunday (4/7/09) instead of today 30/6/09.

    1. Yea, dun give them face!!!! Should just complain puas-puas.....all this companies/retailers, they think they are hell of a great??? Wait till we complain to their main HQ in the USA or wherever all these brands' HQs are based!!! We shall see what they'll do. Because I doubt the main company knows what all their reps/importers are really doing.....like depriving interested customers of their rights to get samples to try, overcharging us to get some GWPs.

Do u know that in the US, to get any GWPs, customers don't need to spend hundreds and hundreds just to get that mere miserable 3- or 4-pc gift set??

Nordstrom, a high-end dept store, for example, has so good offers like purchase US$25 or 30 and above, you'll get a designer exclusive 7-pc gift set for a so-and-so cosmetic brands...just quoting examples la....
And convert US$30 to RM.....its about RM110 only!!!!! YES!!! RM110, can get so much GWPs. In Malaysia, if you purchase RM110 only ah.......most of the SAs won't even 'hiu'=entertain you more.

OK, LET ME STRESS BEFORE SOME UNREPENTANT CYBER-HARASSERS WILL COME AND CYBER-HARASS ME AGAIN! I AM SAYING THIS IN GENERAL, NOT POINTING TO ANY PARTICULAR BRAND OR SAs. IF YOU READ ANY AMERICAN BEAUTY BLOGS WHICH ALWAYS TALK OF SPECIAL OFFERS, YOU WILL KNOW HOW WE CONCUMERS IN MALAYSIA ARE BEING RIPPED-OFF INSIDE OUT!!!

AND I AM SIGNING OFF WITH MY OWN NICK, NOT USING SOME 'ANONYMOUS' LIKE THOSE UNREPENTANT RECALCITRANT CYBER-HARASSERS!!!

    2. Booo-hooo Luxasia! I'm sooo over all this Stila-drama. What are they thinking, extending AND extending until when, end of Dec? Ah c'mon!

BTW Miu, yeah you should write an official complaint letter. You've been treated really bad by them, judging from what you posted here. >_<

    6. Hey Miu, yesterday (1st July) I went to Parkson Pavillion, Stila counter was still open! Pity you to be treated like that from them.

    7. Hi Fizlynn, yea they've extended until this sunday :(

i went yesterday and nothing much left there..except 2004-2005 stuffs.. I bought sponge pads rm6 for angel light foundation powder. Inside has 2 sponge for rm6.

Then what's interesting is.. i bought 3 e/s single empty casings for rm10 each under the promo.

Last month is was actually reduced to rm8 (20% further reduction from April sales rm10 (minus 20% rm2 = rm8).

This June/July it's being sold for rm10 again. Strangely odd, but I don't care anymore coz i didn't buy any e/s single casings so just pay for it.

For what happen, I'd like to be tolerant. I could write in detail what happened but I choose not to. Let bygones be bygones.

    8. Yeah, most of their lipstick were manufactured on 2005, when the SA open it to show me the colour, it was really smelly, they also sell the eyeshadow, rm50 for 5 but you have to buy 5 pieces, even they have limited colours. Crazy..

    10. Relax babe, the business world is big and complicated. I heard duty in MSIA is hundred times more and all those "tax/etc" we know who makan them.

Which is why online shopping now booming. I hope Stila cosmetics open up to international buyers soon. It would be cheaper than going through so many parties and end up in our counters so $$.
