Help Baby Kai Xin

On 25th June The Star's Metro Section highlighted the plight of 8 month old Baby Kai Xin who is diganosed with biliary atresia after developing jaundice when she only three months old.
Biliary atresia is a condition in which the bile produced by the liver cannot flow from the liver to the gall bladder, resulting in liver damage and ultimately, liver failure.
The parents of Baby Kai Xin is seeking help to raise monies so that Baby Kai Xin can undergo a liver transplant in Singapore. The estimate cost of this operation is estimated to cost a whopping RM500k! Now we all know the average families in Malaysia don't even have rm500k! I know because I don't even have 5k in savings & I live month to month just by my salary.

Reading their blog it brought me to tears of what they're going through especially Baby Kai Xin. As much as I would like to help by not only donating, I am also appealing to anyone who comes across this post to help them whether by donating, spreading the word, blogging, etc! Thanks to Von who brought up the idea of Bloggers 4 Charity, I have joined forces with her to blog about Baby Kai Xin's plight and make a button with a direct link to Baby Kai Xin's blog & anyone's blog post link to appeal for help under it. If you're reading this and you're a blogger, please help spread the word and raise funds for Baby Kai Xin to have a liver transplant.

True, This! -
Beneath the rule of men entirely great,
The pen is mightier than the sword. Behold
The arch-enchanters wand! - itself a nothing! -
But taking sorcery from the master-hand
To paralyse the Caesars, and to strike
The loud earth breathless! - Take away the sword -
States can be saved without it!
- Edward Bulwer-Lytton

The pen is mighter than the sword, and in our case, blogging where we bloggers can not only stop war with it but help people too.
