  • Origani - Australia's Luxury Organic Skincare Brand

Origani opens it's latest beauty clinic at The Curve

I can't believe that the same brand that I have been sneaking glances from at Bangsar Shopping Center has opened an outlet 10-mins away from me! I'm talking about Origani, the luxury organic skincare brand from Australia *excited*. Their high-performance organic and naturally-derived beauty products are one of the reasons they're Australia's leading organic skincare brand.  With over 280 stores worldwide, this would make Origani The Curve, the 7th store in Malaysia since 2016.

Made with high-quality, natural ingredients - most of their products contain certified organic ingredients by the Australian Ministry of Health. Just look out for the mark that says "Includes Certified Organic Ingredients". Otherwise, the percentage of the certified organic ingredients within the formula would be indicated instead. Bonus point: They're also cruelty-free *bunny mark*.

If you're worried about the number of chemicals being absorbed by your body from the everyday use of beauty and cosmetics in the market, then organic skincare may just be what you're looking for. It's a natural way to heal and protect the skin.

Many thanks to Origani's GM James Barton who invited me over to see their new Origani clinic. Origani Clinic because it's no longer just a store, they now offer facial treatments such as the Skinfusion Organic Spa Treatments and LED Anti-Ageing Facial Rejuvenation Treatment. The later uses LED light therapy that combines both red light and infrared light to lift, tighten, and combat premature aging. The infrared light penetrates deep into the skin (40mm) to repair collagen while the red light goes in 10mm to reduce signs of aging (wow).

The Origani clinic is strategically located at the ground floor concourse area, the bright and colorful clinic can be seen from afar, with a beautiful butterfly "chandelier". Just walk in to get a free consultation from their beauty advisors.

Origani ERDA for normal to combination sky type

From there, I was introduced to their everyday skincare range called ERDA. The name is quite unique and it feels like it's inspired by a mythical beauty. The range focuses on harnessing the power of organic nutrients derived from plant and fruit extracts. Couple with advanced technology, ERDA is an innovative everyday skincare solution made for normal to combination skin.

From ancient times ERDA has been associated with an Earth Goddess – a vibrant spirit, respecting and nurturing the earth. ERDA takes its inspiration from this ancient myth - to protect and nurture your skin, everyday. ERDA is derived from the roots of the Earth, combining botanical and floral extracts, essential oils and minerals. ERDA respects your skin – from gentle cleansing to specific treatments, naturally enriched with Certified Organic ingredients, for smoother softer skin.

Apart from ERDA, Origani also has other range suited for all kinds of skin concerns and type + cosmetic and body care products. Here's a list of what they currently offer:

Dermassure - oily & troubled skin
    Immortajell - immortal range
Ageless By Nature - high-performance anti-ageing line for mature skin
Erda - normal and combination skin
God's Nectar - for dry & dehydrated skin
    Repertoire - skincare for men

I was given two products from the ERDA line to review. The popular daily glow toning cleanser which I came to love, followed by the recommended soothing and reviving night cream for my beauty sleep. Both were going to help me hydrate, calm and make me youthful *yay*.  Read my review of the two products below!

Erda Daily Glow Toning Cleanser 150ml RM450
    gentle | purifies | refines | smooths

At first, I was skeptical, because of how many multi-tasking-cleansers claims to be this and that but after using this for the first time, my skin was blown away by it's power! AND after 7-days, my skin's glowing, my pores don't look like 50 cent coins (ok I'm exaggerating here), and I look not a day older. I am officially addicted to smothering my face with the gooey goodness. It deep cleans and doesn't make your skin dry out or tight. Couldn't help touching my cheeks, seriously - so soft.

I was told that this is a 3-in-1 product which tones, gently cleanses and removes make-up. With that I thought, wow, would it be suitable for sensitive skin types like me? YES! My face didn't feel anything off, in fact, it felt so good, so refreshed, I'm sold.

The bottle is made of high-grade acrylic. not plastic. The texture is like honey jelly, doesn't lather, smells delicious like a nectar fruit and is cooling to the skin. I use only 2 pumps, on damp skin, gently massaging it in a circular motion and then rinse with water.

Made with certified organic ingredients. I love that it has natural ingredients such as honey, aloe vera juice, grape seed extract, and Vitamin E.

P.S: Considering this is an organic luxury skincare product made in Australia (currency exchanged, etc) the price is on the higher side, but it lasts you 1/2 year with twice daily usage. So it's worth the investment.

    What It Is?
Erda Daily Glow Toning Cleanser gently cleanses and purifies your skin without any drying effects. Thanks to Aloe Vera Juice, this cleanser delivers soothing and hydrating performance that will benefit every skin type. Honey and Cinnamon Leaf Oil also give superior antibacterial protection for a clear and calm complexion.

    How To Use:
    1. Gently massage 2 - 3 pumps into damp skin and then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
    2. Follow with either Erda Rich & Hydrating Day Cream or Erda Soothing & Reviving Night Cream.
    3. Use morning and night.

Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Carbomer, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Vitis Vinifera (Red Grape) Seed Extract*, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Honey (Mel), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Cinnamomum Cassia (Cinnamon) Leaf Oil, Lactic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, CI 14700, Ci 19140.

    Store between 5°C / 41°F and 30°C / 86°F. Avoid direct sunlight.

Erda Soothing & Reviving Night Cream 50ml RM850
    soothes | detoxifies | de-stresses

Just for my night time routine, I would follow with the soothing and reviving night cream. It's creamy and slightly thick but surprisingly does not weight your skin down and is smooth like melted butter when you massage it onto your skin. It's also fast absorbing and leaves the skin without the heavy sticky feeling. It does not leave any residue as well on your pillows. There's a silky feeling to it. I love that it doesn't have a strong scent like most night creams and that it has anti-oxidants, proteins, and beneficial oils as well as Retinol and Vitamin E to repair your skin while you're sleeping.

I used this for over a week, and my skin has not flake once. Either that or the cleanser is super good. I was almost tempted to use this as a day cream but I stopped myself as I felt the ingredients would benefit me while I have my beauty sleep. I am going to continue using this for at least 4 weeks to see if aging stops (lol kidding).

Unlike the daily glow toning cleanser, this cream comes in a lovely luxury-looking box and a spatula for dipping. The packaging is also made of high-grade acrylic.

P.S: For sensitive skin, or if you easily get flushed cheeks after a hot day, this cream helps to calm your skin down!
