The recent Laneige Beauty Fair at Parkson Pavilion was an unexpected surprised for many of us - including me. I for one never even looked at Laneige products before until this sale came along. I knew that one their star product was the much talked about Sleeping Mask thanks to a reader turned friend of mine - Buaya Wing! but to my disappointment it was not on sale. However that did not stop me from looking around until I've fallen in love with these "Christmas Themed" lip palettes, among other cool & Christmasy "designed" cosmetics called The Secret Of The Snow Crystal Collection.

The packaging of the lip palettes are gorgeously designed in a Christmas Snowflake manner, there's holographic or rather sparkling snowflakes packaging that invokes a frosty feeling. This is definitely great as it's just in time for Christmas! (which is about 2-3 months more but hey if u can buy gifts now for just rm20 for a lip palette, you'll go crazy like me too). The Spring Designer collection is designed by Klaus Haapaniemi a Finland born graphic illustration designer whose famous in fashion & animation.

The lip palettes comes in 6 shades - 4 lip colors and 2 lip gloss colors. The description on the lip palette Shade 1 - Pure says "to make your lips appear fuller with brilliantly lustrous pearly color. While lip palette Shade 2 - Glam says "the 2 lip gloss will make your lips appear fuller while the 4 lip colors offers long-lasting color & moisture". Each palette also comes with a mini lip gloss brush.

Lip Palette in Shade 02 - Glam

I've swatched the colors at the Laneige Beauty Fair, lip palette in shade 01 pure is very girly colors, with sheer glosses and lip colors for a cool look. I think this shade will be a hit with young girls or those who's into shine/glossy lip colors :)

Glam - 2 lips gloss + 4 lip colors

Palette 2 in Glam is a more matte/warm palette with the swatches appearing more darker than shade 1 pure palette. Looks like a nude palette that can also be used to glam up for night. Will be a hit for young adults/working ladies or moms!
