 Style Up Yourself! Pose & Shoot Contest

 

Heya Fahionistas! Guess what! Mango (MNG) has a competition up now for everyone to go posing away like Malaysia's Next Top Model! The competition title "Style Up Yourself" starts from 5th - 8th April, 2011 (10.00am to 8.00pm) and from 12th - 15th April, 2011 (10.00am to 8.00pm) at participating Mango outlets in Malaysia*.

The Prizes and a Magazine Photo Shoot!

There will be a total of 4 winners for each look (Casual, Jeans, Suits and Evening) and each winner will take home a whopping RM2,000.00 Mango shopping voucher!!! and also do a magazine shoot! In the magazine photo shoot, winners must allow photo shoots in 4 magazines wearing MANGO apparel (how awesome is that?!). Details will be informed after the announcement of the winners.

The judging and shortlisting will be done according to the criterias above. When a finalist is shortlisted their photos will be uploaded to Mango's Facebook page. There will be a total of 21 participants per look X 4 looks uploaded for voting. To understand the contest mechanics better read the following:

How the contest works:

• Visit a participating Mango store during the participation period. No purchase necessary.
• Participant must choose at least 1 look and up to a maximum of 4 looks between the categories of Casual, Jeans, Suits and Evening.
• A Mango Look Book is available for inspiration.
• Participants must mix and match Mango clothing and accessory pieces and proceed to change into the chosen looks.
• An individually posed photo will be taken of the complete look and uploaded (1 day later) on Mango’s Facebook Style Up Yourself photo album.
• Participants must tag themselves in the photo album.
• Participants will be given a Next Step Card upon filling up the application form & submitting their photos.
• Next Step Card contains a 5% discount coupon & instructions of what to do next.
• After preliminary judging & shortlisting, wait for the announcement of top selected participants by 18th April 2011.
• If you are selected as the top finalists:-
  - Ask your friends to be fans of MANGO fan page on Facebook.
  - Go to the Style Up Yourself tab (FB Application) and get them to vote for your look.

How do they select the winner?

Winner judging is determined by the highest number of votes on the Facebook application. Each fan will only be able to vote once for each photo. A tie breaking judge will determine the winner based on criteria listed in the shortlisting judging. The winners will be contacted through Facebook message inbox and results will be announced on Mango's Facebook page on 27th April, 2011.

Basic Contest Rules

• Malaysian female aged 18yrs & above.
• Participants must be a fan of Mango’s Facebook page for the duration of the Contest and have a valid Facebook profile and profile picture.
• Participants must use only Mango clothing & accessories. No other brands allowed.
• A maximum of 3 shots can be taken for each chosen look.
• Participants can only submit 1 photo per look.
• All photos from 1 participant must be from 1 outlet on 1 day only. 
• No hair & makeup services or any other props are provided.
• 5% discount can only be used on the day of participation only.
