  • Sneak Peek at Lush Goodies! All the way from Singapore.

    3.27.2013

one could faint in delight unboxing this

The best things in life is when your Lush parcel arrives right up to your doorsteps (auto gate barrier in the case of Malaysia). You can almost smell the sweet sweet scent of soaps and bath ballistics from the parcel. The postman will look at you one kind, why on earth is this girl smiling sheepishly. He's also probably annoyed at this parcel emitting scents he can't decipher (because he's a guy and most guys just use some soap they buy off the shelves).

hey there's sticky tape! for prevent?

I can't say how happy I am that we have Lush just hours away from us. Before Lush Singapore came about, I had to swap with readers to get Lush products or buy them from Canada and Australia. I have always WISH that I could step right into the shop, and SHOP my heart out. I was once in Melbourne and I didn't know what Lush was about. I passby the shop in Chadstone almost everyday to get to the bus stop, knowing that I couldn't afford anything as a student.. I admire from far those soaps and lotions. Having said this, I'm so so so going to promise myself that I will bring you Tammy to Lush one day and shop the hell out of yourself. Pardon my French.

anyone wants to spree with me?

Also I'm so happy that Lush Singapore gives free shipping to Malaysia for orders above SGD200 (it's SGD100 for Singapore orders). This way we can spree as much & save on shipping!

    NOW LET THE UNBOXING BEGIN!

I just love taking pictures of Lush products

Did I tell you that my favorite all time product from Lush is the Angels On Bare Skin, fresh facial cleanser? It was the first product that I feel in love with, mainly because it was fresh and it's handmade using organic fruits and vegetables. They're big on essential oils and they creative with conjuring concoctions all the time to impress their fans. Like for instants, the Ro's Argan Body Conditioner which is something I have not tried before. Lush calls it as Shower Smoothie and I do agree it looks like a smoothie! (warning not edible) and how do you use it? in the shower of course! Here's the lowdown on what I got with descriptions from Lush Singapore website:

For heavenly soft and balanced skin, take a smidge of Angels on Bare Skin, mix with a little water and massage in. The kaolin clay base deep cleanses while ground almonds gently exfoliate the dead skin away. Rose and lavender are added to soothe and help balance out combination skin. It's our best selling preservative-free and packaging-free daily cleanser for all skin types, so if you don't know which cleanser to choose and it's heavenly skin you're after, start with Angels.

    FEATURES
    • Not sure which cleanser to use? Angels on Bare Skin is suitable (and beneficial) for all skin types.
    • A worldwide best-seller: Why? Because it makes your skin look and feel incredibly soft.
    • Nutty scrub: Ground almonds gently scrub away dirt, oil, and built up debris in your pores.

    What's a Shower Smoothie?
Shower Smoothies are a creamy, whipped up body wash with decadent ingredients. They are much richer than shower gels, as they include cleansing clays and moisturizing butters, along with fruits, vegetables, flower petals and toning essential oils. Smoothies are wonderful on sensitive skin, as they are both mild and extraordinarily moisturizing. They are also convenient when you’re in a rush, as the butters moisturize and soften your skin while you wash, so there is no need for lotion. One thing we know for sure is that Shower Smoothies make for indulgent, luxurious showers - Lush Singapore.

    RO'S ARGAN BODY CONDITIONER

Perfect for: All skin types especially Dry Skin

This product is named after Rowena, Lush Co-founder, because she’s been nagging us for a very long time for both a conditioner to use after showering. We start this product by making an infusion of cypress and vanilla. Cypress is a cooling herb that is said to prevent sweating. We added Argan Oil, an oil produced in Morrocco which is rich in Vitamin E and known for its anti-ageing benefits. Finished off with a Rose Jam scent, this product leaves you soft and smelling like a rose bush being kissed by the first rays of morning sun.

This creamy rose, Sicilian lemon and rosewood soap is sure to set hearts a-flutter this Valentine's Day. Inspired by a tragic love story of star-crossed lovers, and with a luxurious perfume called ‘A Thousand Rose Petals', this romantic, limited edition soap certainly suits the season of love. With skin softening and soothing ingredients, a lather with Willow Pattern soap is just about the most sensual way to wash this February!

    FEATURES
    • You wash my back: Share this soap with your beloved in the bath or shower for a sensual wash.
    • Limited edition suds: Willow Pattern is only available during the season of love!
    • Love birds: This soap was inspired by a traditional Chinese tale of love conquering all.

    EASTER EGGHUNT SOAP

Egghunt Soap is fragranced with raspberry perfume. The sweet fruitiness makes this soap a brilliant Easter gift for anyone who’s trying to avoid chocolate this year. You could even try hiding pieces around the house for your family to find on Easter Sunday - it’d be an Easter Egg Hunt Hunt!

all time fave fresh & organic cleanser

you can almost feel the texture here
(kaolin clay, ground almonds, rose, lavender)

    my first Shower Smoothie

most of their products are made fresh with organic ingredients, yours might have evaporated already if u kept it too long. They don't have or don't have preservatives so lush products expires quickly

      1. Hi Fiery Phoenix,

Somehow I also wish I am a millionaire's daughter so I can own the whole shop n open in Msia haha. Sorry If i made u feel like spending money! not my intention, just sharing good stuffs I love... once a while rewarding myself for hard work.

Angel's on Bare Skin is suitable for all skin type! it has exfoliation properties too thx to the ground almond bits. There's a youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=BdJaOTfQCss on how to use it. You can have an idea :) here on how this product works.

The product expires after a year or so if I'm not mistaken. All lush products comes with a expiring date label. I usually keep them in my fridge to maintain the freshness and it's so so refreshing when it's chill in our hot weather.
