About The Blogger

My name is Tammy Lim and I am an award winning blogger from Top 10 Malaysia Magazine and Cleo Malaysia Magazine. I have been blogging since 2008 and I am also the founder of a local Malaysian beauty & lifestyle community called The Butterfly Project. People often tell me that I'm a wonder woman, but in reality - if it's something you love, you can do wonders.

When I'm not wondering, I'll be on my computer searching for the next fountain of youth or hunting down a fantastic deal. I'm also a shopaholic, wanderluster, spa enthusiast and proud hipster who loves planning special occasions and surprises for her loved ones.

Akbhar Mango: Mogul Emperor Akbhar, a 10th century royal and a great lover of mangoes, once famously planted a superior variety of 100k mango trees, in the Lakh Dagh Orchard. That eccentric passion of his, still grants him to date the record holder title.

George III Lime: One of the most dreadful enemies for the British navvy was scurvy, which is caused by lack of Vitamin C. But in the early 18th century sailors were finally saved by simply consuming daily lime juice, following orders given by King George III.

Chinese Princes Jasmine: It is believe by many that the fragrance of jasmine awakens sensual thoughts and strengthens feelings of love. Legen has it that an ancient Chinese princess planted only jasmine in her gardens so that her lover would never forget his vows.

Queen Isabella Cinnamon Orange: Queen Isabella of Spain was very fond of cinnamon's mild taste and exquisite aroma but not of its exorbitant price. So, she financed Columbus's search for a new route to Ceylon's cinnamon and thus set the wheels in motion for his accidental discovery of the New World.

Nefertiti Honey: Nefertiti, royal wife of an Egyptian Pharoah was depicted as an icon of beauty in her famous statue. She regularly used honey as a beauty treatment in order to live up to her name, which means "the beautiful woman has arrived".

    My favourite is Nefertiti Honey!
