  • Is Kao Liese Halal?

is Kao Liese Bubble Hair Dye HALAL?

Coming back to reader's question on whether this revolutionary bubble hair dye is Halal or not? I refer to kao's website where they have a Q and A page that answers to some of the most popular questions around. I hope this helps you girls :)

Liese Bubble Hair Color does not use any raw material of pig origin. Liese Bubble Hair Color contains alcohol which is permissible by JAKIM(Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia or The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia).

Liese Bubble Hair Color makes hair coloring fun and easy! It is a new type of permanent hair color that uses foam. Just dispense the foam, apply on hair and massage. No more troublesome sectioning of hair! Foam reaches all over the head and you can achieve beautiful, evenly colored hair easily. Sweet Pink - a shiny brown with a touch of pink.

    2. To our Islam faith brothers and sisters. Eventhough they use ingredients permissible by JAKIM and Its permissible to have nail polish/hair color on whilst praying. It becomes a problem when you have to do wudu or have a full ghusl.

If you have nail polish on and try to do wudu it will become invalid. When you have it on, water cannot penetrate through so it needs to be removed. Same sort of theory applies for hair color.

    3. Can you please, give us an explanation, Nina? Like, what proof do you have. What ingredients are making water not permissible to the hair? Would like to know more, thanks.

    4. Hey guys and specially to the Muslims, here's a discussion regarding whether it is permissible to dye your hair or not.

Quote: "with regards to this issue..permanent hair dye does reach the roots and is not a coating...

and non permanent comes out after a certain amount of washes...so its best to do permanent b coz ghusl/wudhu will be accepted inshallah
temporary hair colour such as coloured mascara puts a coating on the hair and therefore will have to be removed if one is to do wudu/ghusl."

      1. I already use this product in Glossy Brown. this product was amazing!!!!, it will make your hair shiny and soft and as it permanent i was a little bit scare so with this good news, i actually want to change my hair colour in chesnut brown, so i absolutely will do that. actually the colour inspired by KPOP artist as it was a trend right now! and i think KPOP fashion was more attracted me than US@ American.
