"Bonjour! I've decided to start blogging and enlighten all plus size girls about absolutely anything. So my first post would be on my Garra Ruffa Fish Treatment ^_^ experience so let's see what's blogging all about and how long I can do it lol" - plus size kitten 2008

What's the hype with Garra Ruffa Fish? It's all over the magazines and even on my mind. WHY? easy, the thought of having millions (ok not millions, but god dam a lot) of tiny fishes eating your feet isn't a sight easy to forget! So here's what I did, I manage to convince my girl friends from school (we've been keeping in touch, ok well no at least we do look up each other every once in a year) and Olina pick me & Sasi up to Bangsar for a unforgettable Garra Ruffa Fish Treatment experience.
Mind you, I had to dig deep into my soul to put my fat legs into the water. Here are some pictures enjoy!
A close up on the fishes and what they actually do to you. Just so u know, it was an electrifying sensation that almost jolted me out of my seat (I did not look down for a good 5 minutes to stop myself from freaking out).
Olina was the first one to dip in and this is what happens in a matter of a few secs. Sasi was squirming already and I felt my guts dropped to the floor.
Sasi (Left) Olina (Right) notice the fishes didn't pay much attention to Sasi? well I figure that since Sasi was the last one to go in, the fishes had already tag Olina & me. The person in charge told us not to move our legs too fast as it will scare the fishes off. If we needed to move, do it slowly. In this case Sasi was moving her feet a lot in water right after she dip in, and some fishes got scared! She also tried to scare the bigger fishes away (she was choosing which size fish could feast on her dead skin).
Olina's popular with them fishes. We're jealous...
Finally some attention! but I was still too scare. The feeling is overwhelming! It's my first time! sob sob.
Oh Gosh did u see the big one over there on Olina's foot?
Sasi's trying to see if the fishes will eat her hand. Yes they came swimming!
The nice view in front of us. Our spot was lovely ^_^
More view on the quaint little spa. It's not that big but it does look awfully nice.
The spot we initially sat on, look at the fishes in it!!
Wondering what's this? Yeah it's the place where you scrub your feet clean and nice (from lotions, chemicals etc) before you let the fishes feast on you. They don't want their fishes to die from chemicals and beauty products you put on your feet.
Sasi & Olina wondering why this fat pig is taking so much pictures LOLS!
So THIS is the 1st post? I've been searching for ur 1st post ever since I've discovered about PSK, but I always end up lost in hundreds or ur other entertaining posts. =D
ReplyDeleteHey, I've tried this fish spa once! But it was a cheap, RM5 for 15min @ JJ Wangsa Maju. I always walk past through this Bangsar fish spa whenever I go to Bangsar for my dentist appoinment.Of course, I only see the exterior but looking at ur pics here, wow! No wonder it's pricey.
BTW, keep on blogging Miu, u r doing a great job! That's an honest compliment from one of ur avid readers. =)
