AVATAR MOVIE

The Synopsis

Avatar is set during the 22nd century on a small moon called Pandora, which orbits a gas giant, and is inhabited by the tribal Na’vi, ten foot blue humanoids that are peaceful unless attacked. Humans cannot breathe Pandoran air, so they genetically engineer human/Na’vi hybrids known as Avatars that can be controlled via a mental link. A paralyzed Marine named Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) volunteers to exist as an Avatar on Pandora, falling in love with a Na’vi princess and becoming caught up in the conflict between her people and the human military that is consuming their world.

I won a pair of premier movie tickets to watch Avatar (directed by "Titanic" James Cameron) yesterday from Nuffnang but because I had to attend the Kiehl's party at Pavilion, I decided to give away the tickets to uncle frog and buy my own at GSC Pavilion KL. GOOD MOVE! because there's only a few words to describe how GOOD this MOVIE is:

DAMN DAMN DAMN GOOD

SO GOOD! the movie is THE BEST I have seen or waited for in the year 2009 (please this year the movies all sux to bits). The CGI graphics although made me dizzy still kept me in my chair for almost 3 hours of show time. In fact I have not gone to the washroom at all! (my friends u know i am famous for toilet breaks). It's so good I want to watch it again and this time in 3D!

The story sets around this orang cacat Jake Sully, a marine soldier sent as a "undercover" alien to find out what makes the Na'vis (alien) tick coz blardy humans wants to destroy yet another greenery to be rich. Of course we can predict the story, human become alien, human fall in love with alien, human betray alien, human somehow still win the story and hopefully human and alien will live happily ever after.

Yes? No? well the story seems predictable but how it goes and flows isn't! especially with super beautiful CGIs and a totally new world with "cable wire extensions" really make me go "wah...". This movie will transport you to PANDORA, feeling and experiencing a whole new world and learning alongside Jake. Also it kinda makes me want to be the alien too coz human just sux.

Movie Rating : 5/5 STARS for super CGI grapghics, sound effects, story line, plot, character building!!! GO WATCH IT!
