invited to the exclusive preview of the newest brands in town
Last month Shiseido Malaysia invited me & my friends to a private preview of the latest brands set to launch in Malaysia. They are the long awaited Senka Skincare and Ma Cherie haircare products along with ZA Cosmetics latest cosmetic collection. The event was held at Shiseido's office (near Ikea). It was the first time they organize such an event, so we were thrilled to be there having tea with pink cupcakes and pink sparkling juice!

The preview session took nearly 3 hours and Shiseido's trainer gave us introduction to each brand and their product collection, including what's the best :D to try! We drank and eat while listening to her. There was hands on session as well trying the products from all three brands. Fun!!! I wish they have more workshops like these where we can try first hand the products.
SENKA Skincare offers a range of basic essentials skincare products like cleansers made of oil, water or foam and the famous Hoshitsu Lotion (moisturizing lotion) at an affordable price.
MA CHERIE formulated with champagne, honey and other moisturizing ingredients, provides a range of hair products including shampoo, conditioner, treatment, mist, fragrance and oil. Their packaging and concept makes you feel like a dolly princess.
ZA Cosmetics a brand not new in Malaysia but what's new is the launch of their pore less skin and attractive eyes collection featuring the new Killer Volume waterproof mascara, Perfect Fit 2 way foundation and concealer.

After the workshop we brought back some of the best selling products from each brand to review and so far I am loving the Senka Perfect Whip and Hoshitsu Lotion! I want to try more products and hope Shiseido organizes one for the consumers or my readers to try as well. It's been some time since I saw a consumer workshop, the last one I attended was Aqualabel 2 years ago. Anyway these products are affordable and you can buy them from selected Watsons stores in Malaysia. It's all launched already in January 2013 (Senka products launched last month).

Deleteis it possible to make the foam as dense as they did there at home? coz i have never been able to get that consistency :(
ReplyDeleteit is possible but so far, I'm trying to recreate the foam ball using my palm and folding technique (which fails). Guess the bowl and the brush still works to create the density needed, with the right amount of water.

OH YES OH YES OH YES!!! Ma Cherie and Senka is in Malaysia!!!!! Been reading posts from Singaporean bloggers and actually went to Singapore's Ma Cherie's facebook to ask if they are coming to Malaysia!!! Can't wait to try some of them!!!!!!
