For those following the updates on L'Oreal Paris's first international makeup youtube competition 'The Brush Contest' for makeup enthusiast whether professional or amateur. The wait has come to an end as L'Oreal Malaysia announces the winner of the Brush Contest Malaysia, 30 year old Jamie Tan a Business Analyst with Malaysia Airlines, who will be flying to Cannes, France next month May competing against 11 other countries (France, USA, UK, China, Thailand, etc). I manage to speak to Jamie for a bit at the media event and got to know her up close and personal. Curious, I asked her what's in store for her after this and shyly, she says she has no idea but she hopes she could pursue her dreams and ambitions all together.  Jamie Tan started exploring her mother's cosmetics at a young age and fell in love with makeup. She then took up a Professional Makeup Course at Amber Chia Academy, attending night classes twice a week for two years and finally graduating in 2014. She dabbles as freelance makeup artists and conducts basic makeup training classes during her free time.

As the winner, Jamie will be signing a one year contract with L'Oreal Paris Makeup Designer team worth 100,000 Euro, attend the glamorous star studded trip to Cannes International Film Festival in May, and enjoy the experience, fame and glory as the winner of L'Oreal Paris Malaysia's Brush Contest.
