Hey girls! did u go to the launching party for the Shu Uemura UV Under Base Mousse in April? I know some of you did! (read here). I went as well and "lepak" with Stellarvixen & Akiki Choo and had blast digging in on the chicken satays and yummy cupcakes. The goodie bag was a travel size cleansing oil of your choice (first come first serve) and a travel size skincare item which I can't remember what it was lol.
[trying to find the party pictures to insert here]
Prior to this party, I received an invitation to learn more about this newly revamped product and got to try it personally too. When I arrived at the Shu Uemura outlet in Mid Valley, I was greeted with all smiles from the staffs until I saw an egg beater and a big bowl of egg whites on my table. Can you guess why this weird stuffs are on my table? did I enter the wrong shop? The first 3 girls to guess correctly will win Shu Uemura Eyelashes from me!
Because they wanted to show that the Mousse was as soft as beaten eggs! :D
ReplyDeleteelectronicfly: hmmmm! do u bake?
ReplyDeleteHrm, because they wanna show the texture of the new improved mousse base is as light as those fluffy beaten eggs? =DD hahaha
ReplyDeleteThey wan to show their uv mousse are stable as a beaten egg white,
ReplyDeletemeans once u put it upside down , it wont drip off. stay there!
because they want to show that the uv under base mousse texture effect just like the bitten eggs ;p even when you turn it upside down...it's a solid texture that won't drop and make a mess
ReplyDeleteBecause they wanted to show that with the same amount of product, you will be able to cover more area easily and evenly when it's in mousse form. =D And that it will feel like a dream due to the fluffy texture, just like the fluffed up egg white.
ReplyDeleteafter beat the egg white, will form the mousse same with the texture of UV underbase mousse, very soft and light :)
ReplyDeleteThey want to show that their UV mousse is a weightless mousse makeup base ,can dispensed into hands and patted it around face absorb into the skin quickly which help to even out skintone and texture, reduce redness and minimize the appearance of pores.
ReplyDeletewalao =_= why u all so smart wan.. did i make the question to easy...
ReplyDelete*regretting*
pjio:
ReplyDeletebecause they want show their UV underbase mousse got vitamin as in the eggs~~~~:-)
@miu: haha I know by theory, but I leave the practical to my sis and mom :P I become "judge" oni HAHAHA
ReplyDeleteBecause they wanna show that the newly improved Shu Uemura UV Under Base Mousse is extremely light weight foam texture :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! I guess there's already winner eh? XD
ReplyDeletelol.. i am not sure... going to ask shu uemura why they do that n see who's answer most right.
ReplyDeletebecause they want to show that after the egg white has been beaten, the light, fluffy and soft texture is like the shu eumura UV base mousse. that means its not heavy on the face :)
ReplyDeleteIn order to compare the texture of Mousse - lighter, soft, but well moisturized.
ReplyDeletebecause texture of the new improved mousse base is as light as those fluffy beaten eggs, extremely light
ReplyDeleteFluffy beaten egg produce foam-like texture which is similar to the UV base mousse. Thus, it is lightweight and easy to be applied on skin with no sticky feeling..if I'm not mistaken!
ReplyDeleteSure got winner already :) If you beat egg whites long enough it will peak into something like the mousse, it is like meringues (lemon meringue pie yummy!). But in that bowl looks like whole egg instead.
ReplyDeleteEgg whites are for facial mask? Beaten egg whites - meringues - are like mousse
ReplyDeletei bet they beat the white egg till its white and flufy and proves to u that is how the UV base was made.... the texture is as light as the fresh beaten egg whites.... btw did they put it on ur face??? the egg white's it suppose to be good for tightening ur skin..... :)
ReplyDeleteoh man i am so goin to have a hard time choosing the 3 winners.....
ReplyDeletei believe that they only give u egg white..as in baking cheese cake, i do that step too!i need to beat the egg white until it become soft n smooth mousse! tis is a very important step in baking cheese cake..
ReplyDeletei believe it same as the Shu Uemura UV Under Base Mousse works! which ur face become turn out to be smooth n fair!
miu, i did try tis UV base mousse in the past shu uemura mini-workshop! super lik it..
The egg and the egg beater is to make the customer understand the mousse concept?A weightless mousse that is lightweight and easily blendable as opposed to liquid or cream.
ReplyDeleteI guess they want to show u that egg white is actually represent the Shu Uemura UV Under Base Mousse which it feels soft and comfortable when apply on skin..
