"60% of our population wears a size 12 or higher. 50% wear 14 or higher and 30% are wearing 16 or higher! The average woman's dress size is 14 and the average mannequin's dress size is 6 or lower BUT NOW the average woman has a voice" - The Curvy Revolution.

I couldn't agree more! we're not all size 6 and under! What size are you? okay I know some of you are not plus size, but I am! I wear a size 14-16 depending on the cutting. I am so glad that the fashion industry is finally opening it's door up (like way open) to plus size modelling and fashion. I got an e-mail from Curvy Revolution to post this up. At first glance I spotted the words Plus Size and Event and then Las Vegas. Someone in Malaysia should start a plus size convention too! how to dress and look beautiful regardless of our size. Plus size fashion show and Miss Plus Size contest! wish I was in Las Vegas to attend this.

    1. I'm a size 14 - 16 too, but always having problems getting right clothes, finding the right size... There are so limited plus size shops out there, and in half of the very few limited shops, the design are just.. horrible :( where do you usually get your clothes from?

Your so right, and ya~ we should embrace our curves!!! you go girl~!

    2. I feel you girl... my weight is always up & when its down, it'll always go UP again! And finding a CHEAP PLUS SIZE baju is SUPER HARD! The bigger the baju, the price is also big...

    3. Hi Sue, hope that's your name!

join the club babe! size 14-16 rocks muahahaha!!!

where do u buy your clothes from? i trolled Nichi, Ms. Read, Dorothy Perkins, Jaspal, Seed, Padini (depends on the cutting, i prefer butterfly, kaftan or two piece clothes atm that makes me look funky cool).

=_= so hard to get nice design for plus size clothings! and i want cool ones, duwan the average working clothes/dresses/pregnant clothes. I have yet to find my favorite shop and Ms. Read & Dorothy Perkins is expensive :(

    4. Skutik: eh.. baru je nampak ur blog.. u where got that big lah.. :( quite sexy n cun u.. somore u're a performer! =_= why lah the baju the bigger the more $$ i agree with u!

    5. hai Miu,

I not so big but i think soon to be plus size yet now i hving difficulty to look for a clothes as when i go to plus size area the SA look were like "This is plus size area, go to the other side" but then i go to normal size area, other SA will give a look just saying "No size for u HERE" as i quite tall & big so either the shirt will be hangging on the waist area due to shortest of cloth to cover my tummy area or it was too loose due the size it quite big.

I also hate when the normal size area which the bigger the size, it will look loose not curvy. as the S & M size. Then L, XL, XXL will be loose, too loose.

    6. Hands up for the Curvy Revolution!
I always having problem buying new cloths for my size..and mostly branded clothing line have our size but is expensive..
sometimes it really make me frustrated when i cant get cloths that i desirable..
hopefully the curvy revolution will expand more clothing line here...

I buy size 16/18, depending on the cutting, sometimes i can even get meself into a size 14 BUT buying clothes are an expensive affair...I love marks and spencers, dorothy perkins and i envy those stayin in UK/US coz they always have cool sales, bringing these prices way way down!
