How To Follow A Blog?

I get e-mails everyday from readers asking me how or what is a blog follower? So I decided to make a tutorial page on how to be a blog follower (please follow mine once you're done haha) and explain why it is so important for you to be my blog follower instead of being a silent reader (passive reader).

Why Comments/Following is so important?

First we bloggers don't know a reader exist until they finally leave a comment (which I know many don't coz it's such a hassle or they don't know how to). It's very important to let the blogger know that you [insert name here] exist & that you're reading her blog. Your opinion/comments counts as well because the blogger wants to know what you think or feel about her topic. Just one word that you like it would make her really happy. Same goes to following. For every 1 officialy follower there are hundreds/thousands of silent readers who are comfortable just reading. By following a blog, you're letting the blogger know that you existed and you are reading her blog & liking it (maybe hating it until the extend of stalking it).

Benefits of being a blog follower:

• contests/giveaways
• workshops/events/parties
• recognized by the blogger
• and maybe many more once I become more popular

It's sort of like a CLUB. Would you rather be someone looking from outside the club or someone whose name is in the Club list? Being a part of a Club has its benefits. You get to be a part of something, a part of a group of people sharing and communicating together with the same interest or just getting the club member specials.

How Do I Become a Follower?

1. Easy, locate the follower button in my blog. It looks like this:

(okay sometimes I change my blog colors so it may not be pink all the time)

2. Click the follower button.


3. Sign in via your Gmail/Twitter/Yahoo account. If you don't have any of these, then it's time you register for one darling.

when you see your login name, means you're done!

4. Once you're sign in, you're asked if you want to follow my blog publicly (yes don't be private, I wont know if you're following privately). Just continue clicking Yes or something that means/sounds like Yes and you're done!!!
