  • RMK: KIWI ATTACK!

    7.14.2009

Tonight I'm trying RMK's Gel Scrub, which is a cleansing scrub that gently exfoliates dead skin cells while moisturizing your skin. It's cooling, fresh and kiwilicious. I am quite impressed with this product as lately I have been eating kiwi a lot too haha! fyi I love kiwi & strawberries! This gel scrub is made of yeast, citrus mix, kiwi fruit and aloe extracts.

The product description states that the gentle exfoliating properties come from a citrus mix extract and 4 different types of scrubs; crushes aloe, peach seed, chamomile flower & soft scrub. Each has a unique texture, which when combined, gently disolves sebum that clogs pores & eliminates rougness. While exfoliating, other ingredients including kiwi & yeast extracts penetrate into your skin leaving a long-lasting fresh hydrated sensation. Refreshing scent of lemon, lime & herbs (hey I smell kiwi too!) 100g for RM120 (wow pricey!).

While doing lil round round circles with my fingers on my face, I am enjoying the coolin (and yet clean feel) of the scrub. I left it on for a few minutes, turning it into a mask *lol* Definitely pure pampering, especially like the feel & scent of the scrub. It left my face clean & fresh. Yes I definitely am falling in love with this scrub, I just wished it wasn't that pricey! maybe there is another alternative to kiwi scrub that is cheaper?

    diy kiwi scrub?

YEAP you guess it! make your own kiwi scrub at home! I ran to my kitchen to grab a kiwi, cut it into half, mashed it with my hands and mix with sea salt that I bought from Watsons. It's simple enough to make, but a very messy process. Somehow the end results is not the same T_T maybe I should have added another ingredient like honey? guess if I saved enough, I can get the RMK Gel Scrub instead of making my own T_T sob sob.
